PhD in Education from the University of São Paulo (2011), with a sandwich internship at the University of Minho - Portugal (2009-2010) funded by CAPES. Master in Education (2006) and Degree in History (Bachelor and Licentiate - 1999), both from the University of São Paulo. He is a professor at the Department of Linguistic, Literary and Education Studies at the Universidade Estadual Paulista - UNESP/Campus de Assis, at the Graduate Program in History at UNESP (PPGH-UNESP) and at the Graduate Program in Social History at the University State of Londrina (PPGHS-UEL). He works in the coordination of the Research Group - Laboratory of Studies and Research in Didactics of History (LEPEDIH), as well as in teaching programs such as the Pedagogical Residence (Editais 2020; 2018) and the Núcleo História do PIBID - Institutional Initiation Scholarship Program to Teaching (Editais 2018; 2014) and extension programs, such as the Youth and Adult Education Program (PEJA) (2012 to 2018), all at UNESP/Assis. He served as Editor of the Revista História & Ensino, linked to the PPGHS-UEL (2017-2020). He works as a researcher at the interface between the areas of History and Education, with an emphasis on History Teaching, historical learning and teaching methodologies.
