Graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of São Paulo-USP (2000), master's degree in Morphofunctional Sciences from the University of São Paulo-USP (2002), doctorate in Morphofunctional Sciences from the University of São Paulo-USP (2007) and post-doctorate by the Department of Psychobiology at Escola Paulista de Medicina-UNIFESP (2019). She has internships at the University of Salamanca (Spain) and at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (Portugal). She is currently a professor with exclusive dedication to the Genetics Discipline of the Department of Morphology and Genetics at Escola Paulista de Medicina-UNIFESP, where she works in teaching and as a researcher on the genetic and psychosocial aspects involved in chemical dependence. In the field of ethical principles of scientific research, it operates in the area of patient autonomy. She is coordinator of the Graduate Program in Structural and Functional Biology-UNIFESP and project coordinator in the thematic area ?Promotion of Well-Being for Coping with Issues Related to Violence and the Use of Drugs? of the Institutional Internationalization Program - Capes Print UNIFESP .
