Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovações (Brasil). Centro Nacional de Pesquisa em Energia e Materiais (CNPEM)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I hold a degree in Biological Sciences, a Master's in Agronomy, and a PhD in Science. During my doctoral studies, I had the privilege of engaging in a sandwich PhD program at the Faculty of Forestry, University of Toronto, Canada. Additionally, I enriched my expertise through postdoctoral research in Brazil, Canada, and the United States. My professional journey has been driven by a passion for multidisciplinary research. I possess extensive experience in diverse fields, including microbiology, fungi and bacteria ecology, phytopathology, nanotechnology, materials science, biorefinery, agroforestry waste recovery, and the exploration of renewable biomaterials. Within this multifaceted context, I explored the limits of innovation in a scientific and technological context. I have applied a wide range of analytical techniques, such as chromatography and spectrometry. Over the past five years, my focus has been on advanced imaging methods, deepening my understanding of electron microscopy and synchrotron light applications. These experiences have not only broadened my comprehension of intricate biological systems but have also provided invaluable insights into the scientific realm. I am profoundly motivated by the continuous pursuit of knowledge and the practical application of these discoveries to enhance our understanding of the intricate biological processes within the soil-microorganisms-plant-atmosphere system.
