Medicine Degree from Universidade Federal da Paraíba - UFPB (1996 to 2002); Residency in Internal Medicine (2002 to 2004) and Rheumatology (2004 to 2006) at the Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (HCFMUSP). Specialization in Health Management and Economics from Universidade Federal de São Paulo, UNIFESP (2012); Specialization in Health Technology Assessment from Instituto de Avaliação de Tecnologia em Saúde - IATS (2014 to 2015); PhD in Medical Sciences (2010 to 2013); Post-Doctorate in Musculoskeletal System Sciences (2022); and Professorship (2024) from Universidade de São Paulo (HCFMUSP).She was Preceptor of the Rheumatology Divison of the Department of Internal Medicine at HCFMUSP (2007). She is currently linked to the State Department of Health of São Paulo, working at HCFMUSP as: Coordinator of the Outpatient Clinic of the Rheumatology Service and the Rheumatoid Arthritis Outpatient Clinic and Doctor of the High Cost Medication Dispensing Center (CEDMAC). She is a teacher advisor at the Postgraduate Program in Sciences of the Musculoskeletal System at FMUSP. Her line of research is mainly in the field of rheumatology, with an emphasis on the themes: Immunosuppression and infection, Vaccination of immunosuppressed populations, Biological Therapy, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Inflammatory arthritis.Along with the Brazilian Society of Rheumatology - SBR, she is Coordinator of the Epidemiology Committee, Member of the BiobadaBrasil, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Endemic and Infectious Diseases Committees.
