Graduated in Biochemical Pharmacy from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho-UNESP (1978), Master's in Biochemistry from the University of São Paulo-USP (1985), Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of São Paulo-USP (1991) and post-doctorate by the University of São Paulo-USP (1995). Currently is associate professor at the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho-UNESP, at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FCFAR), at the Department of Pharmaceuticals and Medicines, Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. She was coordinator of the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at FCFAR from 2013 to 2021. Member of the Central Chamber of Graduate Studies-CCPG (2017 2019), UNESP. She was President of the Permanent Committee on Education at FCFAr-UNESP. She was vice-president of the Standing Committee on Research at FCFAr-UNESP (2014-2021). Titular Member of the Congregation (2009 2011). Alternate Member of the Congregation (2012 - 2019). Leader of the research group at CNPq: Biotechnological Aspects of Studies of Enzymatic, Antimicrobial and Biological Activities. Research Productivity Scholarship, level 2, CA - Pharmacy (2012-2013, 2014). Titular Member of the Departmental Council of the Department of Drugs and Medicines FCFAR (2008 - 2016; 2018 - currently), being an alternate member from 2016 to 2018. Titular Member of the Board of the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, FCFAR (2013 2023). Has experience in Biochemistry, with emphasis on Biochemistry of Microorganisms and Biotechnology, acting on the following topics: enzymes, antimicrobial activity, acaricide activity, plant extracts, natural products and microbiological analysis of biotechnological products.
