Dr. Taddei is an assistant professor at the Federal University of São Paulo. He received his Ph.D. in Anthropology from Columbia University, New York. He is the director of the school of ethnographic methods at the Comitas Institute for Anthropological Study (CIFAS), in New York. He coordinates, with Susana Dias, the research group on "Communication, dissemination of knowledge, and education for sustainability" of the National Climate Change Science and Technology Institute (INCT). He was a visitor at the following universities: Yale, Duke, and Universidad de la Republica (Uruguai). Dr. Taddei integrates the World Meteorological Organizations standing committee on climate services. His work emphasizes social theory, social studies of science and technology, the Anthropocene and the climate emergency, traditional knowledge and environmental governance, risk and disaster, language and performance.
