Andria de Paula Santos da Silva

She is currently a PhD in Zoology from the University of São Paulo (USP). He holds a Master in Toxinology from Instituto Butantan, with emphasis on scorpions and their venom. Graduated in Biological Sciences from Faculdades Integradas do Tapajós (currently UNAMA on Campus de Santarém, Pará). He holds a degree in Licentiate, Biology and has Professional Improvement in Research and Health Actions in the Amazon from the Butantan Institute of São Paulo. FAPESP scholarship holder (2017-2019) with BEPE/FAPESP international internship period at the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH), with research related to the Phylogeny of scorpions of the genus Ananteris (Buthidae). She works with research on the following topics: Arachnida (Scorpiones), Systematics and Taxonomy of scorpions, Scorpion venoms and Fauna I Inventories Inventories with studies of diversity, composition and distribution patterns. It also develops Environmental Education and Health Education activities related to Biology and the like, Environment, Zoology, Identification and Prevention of Accidents with Venomous Animals.
