Birthplace: Brazil

Degree in Geography, BA and BSc from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP). Doctorate and Master in Geosciences and Environment from the same university. Since 2013, he has been working in geosciences, relating stable water isotopes to meteorology, climatology and hydrology. He has been a FAPESP scholarship holder throughout her academic career, including a BEPE scholarship during his PhD. He works at the Laboratory of Environmental Isotopes and Water Resources (LARHIA), where he develops and co-supervises research related to meteorological data acquisition, synoptic analysis and the relationship between atmospheric systems and isotopic variability. More recently, he has worked on the study of rain formation and its local occurrence, seeking to understand how the vertical structure of different types of rainfall contributes to changes in the isotopic composition of rain during intra-events. He also has experience with micro-rainfall radar and GOES-16 satellite imagery, as well as experience with free software and the Python and R programming languages. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
