Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Languages of Ribeirão Preto - University of São Paulo (2002). Held the master's and doctorate in Basic and Applied Immunology by the Ribeirão Preto Medical School - University of São Paulo, with emphasis on the study of Neuroimmunology (2005 and 2009). Postdoctoral developed in the Department of Pathology and Immunology of Washinghton University in St. Louis, MO, USA, under the supervision of Dr. Marco Colonna in the study of the functions of plasmacytoid dendritic cells (from 2013 to 2015). She is currently a postdoctoral fellow by the Ribeirão Preto Medical School - University of São Paulo, under the supervision of Dr. João Santana da Silva, where investigates the role of dendritic cells and their PRRs in Coxsackie virus infection. She has experience in the area of Immunology, with emphasis on infectious diseases (coxsackievirus, LCMV, Plasmodium berghei and Trypanosoma cruzi) and cellular immunity. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
