She is an undergraduate student at State University of Sao Paulo "Julio de Mesquita Filho" (College of Science and Language of Assis), majoring in Biotechnological Engineering. Currently, she is a Scientific Initiation scholar of FAPESP and just finished a year abroad funded by Science without Borders program, in a sandwich undergraduate experience, studying at Boston University, Boston, USA. The exchange program gave her the opportunity to do a 6 month-long internship at Harvard University, at Rowland Institute, in which she worked with biophysics techniques to analyze and identify carnivory's mechanisms of Genlisea's plants.
