Silvia Cellone Trevelin is a member of European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and British Society for Immunology (BSI). She has experience in Pharmacology and Immunology with emphasis in sepsis, cardiovascular diseases, reactive oxygen species generated by NADPH oxidases and toll like receptors. She is graduated in Veterinary Medicine in 2008 at School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science (UNESP-SP, Brazil). In 2010, she undertook her master degree and doctoral research at Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirao Preto (FMRP-USP-SP, Brazil). She developed her PhD studies at Laboratory of Inflammation and Pain headed by Prof. Fernando de Queiroz Cunha (FMRP-USP). Her studies were also developed in collaboration with The Laboratory of Redox Signalling (Institute of Biological sciences- USP-SP) headed by Prof. Lucia Rossetti Lopes. In 2013, she also developed some experiments at Department of Cardiology, James Black Centre, King's College London, under supervision of Professor Ajay M. Shah. In other to develop her studies, she received financial support from European Society of Pharmacology (ESC), British Heart Foundation and Fundação de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP).
