Birthplace: Brazil

Professor at the Department of Physiology and Biophysics in the Institute of Biological Sciences of University Federal of Minas Gerais (UFMG). Bachelor's at Biological Science at State University of São Paulo - Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2007), master's (2010) and PhD's (2015) at Human Physiology in São Paulo University. Post-doctorate at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (2015-2019) and the Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle (IGF, Montpellier, France, 2017-2018). My expertises are related to Physiology, with emphasis on Endocrine Physiology and Chronobiology, focusing mainly on the following topics: thyroid hormones, clock genes, circadian regulation of hypothalamic-pituitary-gland axes and consequences of hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism in circadian rhythmicity. I am collaborator researcher at the Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste do Paraná, National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), National Institutes of Health (NIH, Bethesda, USA), Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle (IGF, Montpellier, França) and Institute of Cell Biology and Neurobiology, Monterotondo Scalo (RM, Italy). Supervisor in the Physiology and Pharmacology Graduation Program - ICB/UFMG (CAPES, level 7) and Human Physiology Program - ICB/USP (CAPES, level 6). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
