Graduated in Physics from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, master degree in Physics from the University of Brasília, and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Professor MS-5 at the Instituto de Física Gleb Wataghin of Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Has experience in physical research with focus in magnetic and dielectric thin films, plasma treatment of material by plasmas and ion irradiation, and optical spectroscopy of glow discharge plasmas.
