Professor in the Department of Social Sciences at the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp) and the Graduate Program in Social Sciences at Unifesp. He holds a master's degree and a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of São Paulo (USP). He is the coordinator of the Study Group on City, Education, Youth, and Life Course (CIDEJUV).
