Graduate at Bacahrel Em Fisica from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (1985), master's at Geophysics from Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (1990) and Ph.d. at Geophysics from National Institute for Space Research-INPE(1995). Dirung Master degree develpoped research with VLF propagation in the Antarctic Region. The doctorate projetct was related with methane emissiom from Pantanal wetlands. Today is a titular reseach at INPE working with atmospheric chemistry envolving biogeochemical cycles of methane, nitrous oxide and carbon. The research also include biomass burning, urban poluition, ozone and its precursosrs using different platforms of equipaments such as airplane, ballons and fixed stations.
