Currently has a position as a researcher at Universidade de Aveiro (Portugal) under the project "NANOGREEN - Towards a new generation of sustainable nano-based additives for maritime anti-corrosion smart coatings: a multidisciplinary framework within the Atlantic" (FCT Project: CIRCNA / BRB / 0291/2019). Works also as collaborator researcher at the Núcleo de Estudos sobre Poluição e Ecotoxicologia Aquática (UNESP CLP), and technical reviewer of international and national journals. Has experience in Ecotoxicology, Oceanography and Marine Biology, focusing on Environmental Risk Assessment and Pollution Control, working mainly on the following subjects: aquatic toxicology, nanoecotoxicology, and marine pollution.
