Researcher at the Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa, Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (IEP-HIAE), with extensive experience in: Human Genetics, induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC), Neuroscience, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics analysis of exome and transcriptome data and gene editing (CRISPR). Professor of the stricto sensu Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences at the Faculdade Israelita de Ciências da Saúde Albert Einstein (FICSAE). Professor responsible for the discipline "Cells and Genes" of the Medical course at FICSAE. Coordinator and professor of the lato sensu postgraduate courses in Bioinformatics Applied to Medical Genomics and Frontiers of Neuroscience at HIAE. PhD in Genetics from the Biosciences Institute - USP, with a Bachelor's degree (2005) and Licentiate degree (2007) in Biological Sciences from the same institution. I have experience in the field of Human Genetics, working since 2004 on researches related to the Genetics of Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as on the genetic counseling of families who have autistic children. Since 2019, I have also been working on projects related to Gene Therapy. During my training, particularly during interships at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) and at the Institute for Stem Cell Therapy and Exploration of Monogenic Diseases (I-Stem) - France, I had the opportunity to become specialized in the cellular reprogramming technique, later transferring this technology to the Center for Human Genome and Stem Cell Research at USP and the Institute for Education and Research at Albert Einstein Hospital.
