CV Lattes

Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCAR). Centro de Ciências Exatas e de Tecnologia (CCET)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Major in Chemistry by Federal University of São Carlos (2009). She got her master degree in 2011 at Chemistry Department at Federal University of São Carlos under Prof Rodrigues supervision. In 2016, she finished her PhD at the same institution, with one year internship at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology. She has been working with ecological interactions between plant and microorganisms and how these interactions influence antibiotic production in a Brazilian medicinal plant (Alternanthera brasiliana). She has experience in organic chemistry (isolation and characterisation of organic compounds), analytical chemistry (validation of analytical methods for quantification of compounds in plant tissues), chemical and biological tools (mass spectrometry, nuclear magnetic resonance, PCR and quantitative PCR). At the moment, she is a CAPES-Humboldt postdoc fellow, at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology, trying to understand how domestication sharped the relationship between soybean and its endophytes. As well as the influence of this process in the metabolism of soybean plants, specially concerning oxylipins. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
