Bachelor's at Statistics from Escola Nacional de Ciências Estatísticas (ENCE/IBGE), master's at Probability and Statistics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (IMECC/UNICAMP), doctorate at Probability and Statistics from Universidade de São Paulo (IMEUSP) and postdoctorate at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (IMECC/UNICAMP).
