Eliana Navarro dos Santos Muccillo

She holds a bachelor's degree and a degree in Physics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1974), a master's degree in Nuclear Technology from the University of São Paulo (1978) and a doctorate in Sciences from the University of São Paulo (1993). She carried out specialization internships in Germany and France in the area of Electrochemistry of Solids. She is currently a professor at the postgraduate course at the University of São Paulo and a researcher at the Energy and Nuclear Research Institute (IPEN). During 2018-2021 she was a member of the editorial advisory board of the American Ceramic Society Bulletin. In 2021, she was elected a member of the World Academy of Ceramics in the Science category. She has been head of the Materials Science and Technology Center at IPEN since 2018. She has experience in the area of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, with emphasis on Ceramics, working mainly on the following topics: impedance spectroscopy, obtaining and physical characterization of electroceramics.
