She is Professor Doctor in the Department of Demography and researcher in the Population Studies Center (NEPO) at State University of Campinas (Unicamp). Main interests: childhood and youth; transition to adulthood (trajectories, family formation and work market); and tendencies in fertility. She received the Capes Thesis Award 2010 (Urban and Regional Planning/Demography Area), with the work ?Transition to adulthood at São Paulo: sociodemographic trends and scenarios?. This award is recognition to the best doctoral theses in each area of knowledge, defended and approved in the postgraduate courses accepted by Ministry of Education.
