.Zilda Aparecida Pereira Del Prette holds a BSc in Psychology from Londrina State University (1978), a Masters degree in Psychology (Social Psychology) from the Federal University of Paraíba (1983), a PhD in Psychology (Experimental Psychology) from the University of São Paulo (1990) and a Postdoctoral degree in Social Skills Psychology from the University of California (2002). She is currently an IA level researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and a Full Professor at the Federal University of São Carlos, linked to the Postgraduate Programs in Psychology at the Federal University of São Carlos (PPGPsi) and to the National Institute of Science and Technology on Behavior, Cognition and Teaching (INCT-ECCE). She is currently coordinator of the Social Skills Working Group at the Brazilian National Association for Research and Postgraduate Studies in Psychology (ANPEPP). She has vast experience in Interpersonal Relations, working mainly in the following subjects: social skills, social competence, assertiveness, school education, teacher training and social-emotional development. She has published 163 articles in specialized journals (10 more to be published), 439 papers in conference proceedings, 72 book chapters, 29 books (from 17 of her books, 5 are test manuals and in 12 she was the organizer). She produced software, videos and other instructional materials. She supervised 22 Master's students, 21 Doctorate students and 6 Postdoctoral students. She also supervised 62 students who did scientific initiation projects and 27 students who completed their final papers in the areas of Psychology and Education. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
