Assistant Professor at the Department of General and Applied Biology at UNESP in Rio Claro. Coordinator of the Laboratory of Chemistry and Microbial Biotechnology (LaQBiM) at UNESP in Rio Claro. She has a degree in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo. Master and Doctor in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo - Post-Doctor from the Faculty of Animal Science and Food Engineering (FZEA-USP) and from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, UNESP. She has experience in the field of Organic Chemistry and Microbiology. Acting mainly on the following topics: isolation of secondary metabolites by chromatography and structural analysis of new organic compounds through the use of techniques such as mass spectrometry, infrared (IR) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR); Production of secondary metabolites by microorganisms; Bioguided fractionation of crude extracts with antibacterial activity of agronomic interest.
