Bachelor in Physics from the State University of Londrina (1985), MSc in Nuclear Physics from the University of São Paulo (1988) and Doctorate in Sciences, with emphasis in Nuclear Physics from the University of São Paulo (1994). In Postdoctoral worked on the study of spectroscopic properties of exotic nuclei (11N and 10N). He held the post of Academic Pro-Rector of the University of Sorocaba for two consecutive terms, from February 2010 to January 2018. He currently holds the post of Pro-rector of Postgraduate, Research, Extension and Innovation at the University of Sorocaba. Is a full professor of the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Science (Academic level), being linked to research line Development and Evaluation of Bioactive Substances and the Graduate Program in Environmental and Technological Processes (Professional level), being linked to research line Processing and Characterization of Materials and Products. Has extensive experience in the area of Applied Nuclear Physics, working primarily in the following areas: a) study of nuclear reactions and spectroscopic properties of exotic nuclei; b) use of the technique of computed tomography and attenuation of gamma radiation and X-ray in non-destructive studies of materials and biological systems; c) development of software and hardware related to data visualization ; d) signal processing; e) study of physicochemical properties of solid dosage forms, of matherials ceramic, metallic, glassy, polymeric and composites of natural and synthetic origin, using nondestructive testing techniques preferably as: Fluorescence X-rays and Computed Tomography.
