Birthplace: Brazil

Professor Dr. Paulo Henrique Março has a degree in Chemistry from the State University of Londrina (2003), a Master's in Natural Resources Chemistry from the State University of Londrina (2004) and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (2009) ) with part of the thesis developed at the Superior Council for Scientific Research in Barcelona, Spain. Has experience in Chemistry, focusing on optical analysis methods associated with chemometrics, acting on the following subjects: Chemometrics associated with chemical data, multivariate curve resolution, principal component analysis, multivariate calibration and PLS-DA. Dr. Paulo Henrique Março has a post-doctorate in analytical chemistry for food sciences at AgroParisTech Paris, France (2009/2010) and a post-doctorate in applying chemometric methods to comprehensive two-dimensional chromatography data, carried out at the State University of Campinas (2010/2011), where he worked as a collaborating researcher. In 2019, he spent a month at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada, as a visiting professor, to learn the Projection Pursuit chemometric tool. Currently, Professor Dr. Paulo Henrique Março works as Professor and Researcher in the Food Engineering department at the Federal Technological University of Paraná - Campus Campo Mourão and has been investigating in the area of food quality monitoring using optical methods associated with chemometric methods. Its projects aim to study the feasibility of using plant-based foods to replace animal-based foods, with the aim of reducing interference caused by the use of foods based on the death of animals.
