She holds a degree in Biomedical Science (1999), Master's in Immunology at the University of Sao Paulo (2002), Ph.D. in Pathology at the University of Sao Paulo (2008). Post-doctorate in the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (2010) and Post-doctorate in the University of Sao Paulo (2013). Experience in Experimental Pathology and Cellular Immunology with emphasis on the study of the pathological, pathophysiological characteristics and molecular pathogenesis of Sepsis and Septic Shock, the study of neglected tropical diseases (Chagas' disease), as well as on cellular and molecular changes resulting from toxicity to chemotherapeutic agents/drugs.
