Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2004), Masters of Science from the University of São Paulo (2007) and Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Pharmacology) from University of São Paulo (2012). Postdoctoral at City of Hope NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center (2012-present). Has experience in Molecular Biology, Tumor Immunology and Molecular Pharmacology working mainly with Prostate Cancer and Breast Cancer. Demonstrated that the gene Dermcidin is capable of increasing the growth and survival of tumor through modulating the expression receptors and ligands of the EGF family / ErbB breast cancer.
