Degree in Geophysics at the University of São Paulo in 2006, a direct doctorate in Geophysics in 2011 at the same university with a sandwich internship at the Joseph Fourier University (Grenoble, France), Associate Professor at USP in 2022 of Geophysics at USP. He did two postdocs, at USP and at the University of Tübingen, Germany, in 2011-2013 and 2020-2021, respectively. He develops research on mantle geodynamics, lithosphere rheology and interaction between surface and tectonic processes on continental margins. Victor leads the Tectonophysics Group at IAG / USP, contributing to the development and use of numerical codes with a focus on Computational Geodynamics. His research is funded by different agencies (FAPESP, Serrapilheira and CNPq) and by Petrobras. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
