Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and PhD in Food Science with a focus on microbial biotechnology from the State University of Campinas (2010), Postdoctoral research (2010-2013: FAPESP) on the application of marine ligninolytic enzymes in the degradation of environmental pollutants: optimization, gene expression, and purification; and in 2013 (2013-2014: CNPq) on the construction of Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains (CNPEM). Currently, I am the coordinator of the postgraduate program in Biosciences at the Federal University of Latin American Integration - UNILA, teaching in undergraduate programs in Biotechnology and Biological Sciences, supervising graduate programs in Biosciences and Neotropical Biodiversity, and curating the Collection of Microorganisms of Biotechnological and Environmental Interest (CCMIBA). My work focuses on microbiology, particularly mycology, including environmental ecology and biotechnology. Projects involve isolation, bioprospecting, molecular taxonomy, and enzymatic processes, especially focusing on fungi from soil and water.
