Graduated in Dentistry from the University of Campinas (1971 ) , Masters in Dental Materials from the State University of Campinas (1988 ) and Doctorate in Dentistry ( Oral Rehabilitation ), University of São Paulo ( 1992) , with postdoctoral fellow at the University of Rochester . Currently, I am a Full Professor in Prosthodontics , Department of Prosthodontics and Periodontics at the State University of Campinas ( Unicamp ) . ad hoc advisor to various educational institutions and fostering research . Associate Editor of scientific journals of Brazil ( Brazilian Oral Research , Dental Science ) and reviewer of scientific journals in Brazil and abroad . At the present I am the president of the Brazilian Society for Dental Research ( SBPqO ) until September 2016. My field of interests are dentistry with emphasis in Dental Prosthesis and correlates, and my research focus include: oral biofilms , finite element method , dental ceramics .
