He had bachelor, master and PhD at Physics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas - Unicamp. In the latter, he was a guest researcher (post-doc PNPD) during the year 2011. He is currently an effective professor at the Federal Institute of São Paulo, Campus Itapetininga. He is a member of the UFSCar Sorocaba Nanoneurobiophysics Group, where he was co-advisor of scientific initiation students and master's degree. He has experience in nanoscience and nanotechnology, with emphasis on biophysics, environmental sciences and semiconductor materials. Since 2012 he has been working with physics teaching and astronomy, and nowadays he has focused on the inclusion of deaf students in the school environment. He offered a bilingual astronomy event for deaf students in 2016 (30h), and he has advisors, workshops, articles and book chapters published in the area. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
