Assistant Professor in the Institute of Computing, University of Campinas (UNICAMP), and also a faculty member of the Reasoning for Complex Data laboratory (Recod.ai). He holds a Computer Science doctorate from University of São Paulo (2012), a postgraduate certificate in Bioinformatics from Universität zu Köln (2005) and a Computer Science bachelor degree from UNICAMP (2004). He has expertise in Computer Science, with emphasis on Artificial Intelligence, Combinatorial Optimization, Computational Biology and Machine Learning.
