Agronomist graduated from the Luiz de Queiroz Faculty of Agriculture (ESALQ), University of São Paulo, MS in Forestry Sciences from the University of São Paulo and PhD in Forest Resources from the University of São Paulo. With 33 years of experience in the area of Forest Restoration, with emphasis on the environmental adjustment program for rural properties. Since 1998, Technical Director of the private company "BIOFLORA technology da Restauração" (www.viveirobioflora.com.br), one of the largest native seedlings in Brazil, produces 4 million native seedlings per year of approximately 200 species. Technical Director of NBL Engenharia Ambiental since 2003. Director of the Environmental Adequacy Program of the Laboratory of Ecology and Forest Restoration of ESALQ / USP, between 2000 and 2018. He works mainly on the following topics: a) development of technology and knowledge for vegetation restoration; B) development of environmental adjustment programs for rural properties; C) technical guidance and implementation of forest restoration projects in degraded areas; D) seed production and native seedlings with high species diversity; E) monitoring of restored areas; F) consultancies for companies and; G) Elaboration of Environmental Recomposition Programs (PRA) for the States of Pará, Bahia, Rondônia and Acre in Brazil. It carries out diverse courses of forest restoration in all Brazil and in foreign countries like Colombia, Paraguay, Rwanda and Mozambique. With several scientific articles and book chapters published. He is currently responsible for the operations development sector at Re.green. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
