Graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Goiás (1994), Master in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (1997) and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2001). In 1999 he participated in the sandwich doctoral program at the University of Alberta-Canada, and in 2008 he served as visiting professor at the Technical University of Denmark - DTU. He is currently an associate professor at the State University of Campinas. He has experience in the field of Electric Energy, energy efficiency, energy management and conservation. Coordinates the Sustainable Campus project and the GGUS - Sustainable University Management Group at Unicamp. He received the Zeferino Vaz academic excellence award from UNICAMP in 2012. He received the 2021 Technology Personality Award in the "Sustainable Energy" category of the Engineers Union in the State of São Paulo - SEESP. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
