Moacir Lacerda

Graduated in Physics from the Federal University of Pernambuco (1988), Master in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1993), PhD in Space Geophysics from the National Institute for Space Research (1998) and Post Doctorate from the University of São Paulo (IAG-USP) . He is currently a retired professor at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul. He has experience in Physics, with an emphasis on Atmospheric Physics and Atmospheric Lightning, acting mainly on the following themes: global electrical circuit, atmospheric lightning, numerical simulation, planetary atmospheres , monitoring the Earth's electric field and its changes produced by storm clouds. Participated in studies of groundwater monitoring, decomposition rate in litters and energy balance in transition forests in the Amazon. Currently works in the development of electric field sensors and in solving the inverse problem of Coulomb's law to determine the structure of charges inside storm clouds or Cumulusnimbus (CB) and in the implementation of lightning strike warning systems. He gives lectures on scientific dissemination on Quantum Mechanics and Relativity and its implications in the way of rethinking reality. He studies the forms of energy and its technologies in the scope of Permaculture.
