Abstract
The infraorder Mygalomorphae (Araneae) are currently divided into 16 families, 11 of those occur in Brazil: Actinopodidae, Barychelidae, Ctenizidae, Cyrtaucheniidae, Dipluridae, Idiopidae, Mecicobothriidae, Microstigmatidae, Nemesiidae, Paratropididae e Theraphosidae.
