He is currently professor titular at Universidade Federal de São Carlos. Has experience in Microbiology, focusing on Industrial Microbiology and of Fermentation, acting on the following subjects: leveduras, degradação, rhamnolipids, biodegradação and pseudomonas aeruginosa.
