Abstract
It is intended to develop research works that are already under development among researchers from LAPSEE and ISEP. A mini-course is also planned to be offered by the visiting researcher as well as the organization of a workshop. (AU)
graduate at Ingenieria Eléctrica from Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria (1978), master's at Electric Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1990) and ph.d. at Electric Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1993). Has experience in Electric Engineering, focusing on Transmission of the Electric Energy, Distribution of the Electric Energy, acting on the following subjects: planejamento de sistemas de transmissão, otimização de sistemas, metaheurísticas, programação linear and fluxo de carga radial. Distributed energy resources (DER) such as renewable generation and electric vehicles (EVs) are increasingly important to our society, but they impose grid integration challenges that need to be addressed. Wind and photovoltaic generation introduce significant uncertainties as they follow variable weather conditions. A large number of EVs in the grid will raise the level of uncertainty as…
This research project has the objective of developing and computationally implementing methods of analysis and optimization for a range of electric power systems problems, especially problems related to transmission and distribution systems. The Power Systems Planning Laboratory (LAPSEE) of the DEE-FEIS-UNESP performs, since more than 20 years ago, research involving analysis of circuit m…

The present research project considers a theoretical analysis and the computational implementation of the model linear hybrid of the transmission systems expansion planning problem. That kind of model, for different reasons, has not been adequately explored by the specialized literature. The linear hybrid model is a relaxed model compared to the DC and AC models that are the models curren…
The present research project intends to ideally and computationally implement a generalized constructive heuristic algorithm applied to the problem of reconfiguration of primary feeders in radial distribution power systems. Thus, it is intended to generalize a constructive algorithm of efficient performance existing in the specialized literature. The proposal is conceptually simple, but un…
The present research project considers the theoretical analysis and the computational implementation of an optimization method to solve the problem of optimal programming of the charging of electric vehicles in secondary electric distribution networks in order to find charging strategies that guarantee the feasible operation of the secondary network and minimize the system losses and devi…

This research project deals with three interrelated problems associated with the optimization of the operation of active distribution networks for service restoration. The first problem that will be solved is related to the service restoration considering islanded operation, for which a new mathematical model will be proposed. The second method will be developed to evaluate the reliabilit…
The present research project intends to carry out a theoretical analysis and the computational implementation of a reformulated tabu search algorithm applied to the problem of reconfiguration of primary feeders in radial electric energy distribution systems. Thus, it is intended to develop a tabu search algorithm that, from an initial solution proposal, finds optimal or near-optimal solut…
This research project deals with the theoretical analysis and computational implementation of new mathematical models that represent the Transmission Network Expansion Planning (TNEP) problem with the AC power flow equations. The proposal consists in developing new mathematical formulations based on the complex power flow equations that will be expanded in the rectangular and polar coordi…
