Carolina Del Roveri is a Ceramics Technician, graduated from CENATEC SENAI "Mário Amato". She worked in the research area and specialized consultancy, at LaRC/DEMa/UFSCar. She holds a degree in Geology from the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" and a PhD in Regional Geology from the Graduate Program in Geosciences/IGCE/UNESP, with an internship at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Much of her academic work in this period was related to the characterization of clays from the Corumbataí Formation in the Ceramic Pole region of Santa Gertrudes, SP. In 2011, she participated in the Postdoctoral Program, at the same institution, in the Industrial Minerals Area, researching melting raw materials. She is currently Associate Professor at the Institute of Science and Technology of the Campus of Poços de Caldas, UNIFAL-MG. She works especially in the BCT and Mining Engineering and the Postgraduate Program in Materials Science and Engineering and the Lato Sensu Specialization Course in Mineral Engineering (CEEM). She is currently Manager of Courses and Events at the Pro-Rectory of Extension at UNIFAL-MG. She develops research projects in the area of Raw Materials, Reuse of Mining Waste, Ceramic Materials and Technological Characterization of Ores, as well as in the area of Education, with emphasis on Active Methodologies.
