Civil Engineer, Master in Sanitation and Environment from UNICAMP (2001), Ph.D. in Hydraulics and Sanitation from EESC - USP with sandwich period at Wageningen University-The Netherlands and post-doctorate at Wageningen University / Dutch Institute of Ecology (NIOO/KNAW). I am currently an Associate Professor at the State University of São Paulo "Julio de Mesquita Filho" Campus de Bauru, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Civil and Environmental Engineering. I am a reviewer for several national and international periodicals. I have experience in Sanitary Engineering, with an emphasis on Decentralized Sewage Treatment, acting on the following topics: anaerobic treatment, sanitary sewage, black water, microalgae, N and P recovery, use of algal biomass, constructed wetlands, disinfection (ozonation, chlorination, peroxidation) and by-products.
