Graduated in Materials Engineering at Federal University of São Carlos (1990), Master Degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Federal University of São Carlos (1994) and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at Federal University of São Carlos (1998). Worked as a Product Development Engineer at Empresa Brasileira de Aeronautica S / A - Embraer for 12 years. He has experience in Materials Engineering and Metallurgy, Materials and Processes for Aeronautical application, mainly in the following areas: alloys for aeronautical application, manufacturing processes applied to metallic materials, materials selection for aircraft structures, aircraft design, qualification of raw materials suppliers and manufacturing services for metallic materials, and the development of technical standards. He worked also in the Technological Development Department of Embraer, coordenating the project "Application of New Technology in Manufacturing Aircraft Structures" and Laser Welding for Aircraft Structures". He is currently Associate Professor at the Federal University of São Paulo - in São José dos Campos - SP. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
