Denise Yamamoto

She has a bachelor's degree in Biomedicine from the University of Santo Amaro (2000), and a Master's degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the Federal University of São Paulo (2003), working mainly on cell enucleation, cytoplasts, intracellular infection, Shigella flexneri and Trypanosoma cruzi. PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the Federal University of São Paulo (2009), working on the subjects Atypical enteropathogenic Escherichia coli and intracellular infection. She developed a postdoctoral project in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Parasitology at the Federal University of São Paulo (2016), working mainly on the following topics: atypical enteropathogenic Escherichia coli, Escherichia albertii, intestinal cell bacterial infection in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo .
