Dr. Adriana Lopes Moreira is an Associate Professor at the Department of Music (CMU) at the School of Communications and Arts (ECA) at the University of São Paulo (USP, 2004-) and at the Graduate Program in Music at ECA-USP (2010-). She is vice-coordinator of the Graduate Music Commission (PPGMUS-ECA-USP, 2013-2017, 2021-) and a member of the Program Coordination Commission (CCP, 2013-2017, 2021-), vice-coordinator os the Undergraduate Course (2013-2015) and a member of the Coordination of the CMU Undergraduate Course (CoC, 2009-10, 2015-); representative of Associated Professors at the Council of the Department of Music (2021-) and the Congregation of ECA-USP (2021-); coordinator of the Research Group TRAMA: Musical Theory and Analysis, focused on the application of emerging theoretical concepts to the analytical practice of musical works (ECA and CNPq, 2015-); founder and co-coordinator of the PAM Laboratory of Perception, History, Aesthetics and Musical Analysis (CMU, 2008-); co-coordinator of the International Meetings on Music Theory and Analysis, EITAM (2009, 2011, 2013, 2017, 2019); member of the Fiscal Council (2021-) of the National Association for Research and Graduate Studies in Music (ANPPOM) and of the Sociedade Jundiaiense de Cultura Artística (SJCA); member of the Editorial Boards of the scientific journals OPUS (ANPPOM, 2015-) and ORFEU (UDESC, 2015-); member of the Editorial Committees of Art Research Journal, ARJ (2012-17) and Revista Música (USP, 2015-). Previously, she was: editor-in-chief of publications at ANPPOM (2011-15), which include Revista OPUS (Qualis-CAPES A1), Research in Music in Brazil series and scientific coordination of annual congresses; co-proponent of the Didactic-Musical Series (EDUSP and Ed. UNICAMP) and translator of the titles "Musical Perception: Listening Practice for Musicians" (Benward; Kolosick, 2009) and "Musical Perception: Sung Reading at First Sight" (Carr; Benward, 2011); external collaborator of Caravelas, Nucleus of Studies on the History of Luso-Brazilian Music, FCSH-UNL, Portugal (2012); of the Commission for Elaboration and Conducting of the Music Aptitude Test of CMU-ECA-USP in the Entrance Examination of FUVEST, she was a consultant (2011-13), president (2007-10) and vice-president (2005-06); she was coordinator (2017-21) and vice-coordinator (2005-10) of the CMU Graduation Committee (2005-10), coordinator of the CMU Research Committee (2012-14) and deputy head of the Department of Music at ECA (2010-11); alternate member of the Technical Administrative Council (CTA-ECA-USP, 2019-2021), representative of Professors Doctors (2009-11, 2013-17) and substitute representative of Professors Masters to the Departmental Council of CMU (2005-07); representative member of ANPPOM at the Brazilian Information and Documentation Committee, ABNT/CE-14 (2011-12), member of the ECA Library Commission (2012-13), Communication coordinator at CMU (2006-08); representative member of the CMU at the ECA-USP Academic Project Development Committee (2018) and the ECA Editions Working Group (2005). She has a PhD in Music / Music Analysis (UNICAMP, 2008); Master's in Arts-Music/Theoretical Foundations (UNICAMP, 2002) and Graduation in Music/Piano Instrument (UNICAMP, 1993). Her work emphasis is focused on studies on Musical Theory, Analysis and Perception, working mainly on the following themes: Music of the 20th and 21st Centuries; Almeida Prado; Olivier Messiaen; Piano.
