PhD Assistant Professor at the Department of Social Communication at the São Paulo State University (Unesp), Bauru campus (SP). Collaborating professor at Unesp's PPGCom. Doctor and Master in Communication (Unesp); graduated in Social Communication, Journalism (Unesp). She was coordinator of the Journalism course at Centro Universitário Sagrado Coração (Unisagrado) and professor at the same institution, between 2019 and 2021. In her doctorate, as a Capes scholar, she investigated the cycle of hypermedia reporting in a systemic and complex approach. In her master's degree, she carried out research on the impact of digital communication and information technologies on the artistic consecration of independent musicians. Assistant editor of the magazine Comunicação Midiatica (PPGCom-Unesp), from 2015 to 2017. She has worked professionally as a copywriter, reporter and staff editor in the print magazines and digital communications segment for 14 years. She is the author of the books "A (R)evolution of Reportagem", edited by Ria; and "Independent Musicians on the Internet: new logics of artistic consecration", publisher Appris. Main research interests: new journalistic formats; hypermedia reporting; data journalism; fact-checking; misinformation; mediatization of society; digital social networks.
