Graduiated in Chemist at the University of Campinas - UNICAMP, where he also was titulated as master, doctor, post-doctor, full professor in Chemistry at the University of Campinas UNICAMP. He is also a member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Commander of the National Order of Scientific Merit, Fellow of the Discovery Institute USA and an emeritus citizen of the city of Campinas, SP, Brazil, where he was born. After his post-doctorate at Purdue University -USA, he founded the ThoMSon Laboratory of Mass Spectrometry (MS) at UNICAMP, making it a research center of great international recognition, where he worked for 25 years. He is currently a professor and researcher at the School of Engineering at Mackenzie Presbyterian University in São Paulo (Brazil) and at the Graduate Program in Materials and Nanotechnology Engineering PPGEMN and Research, Development and Innovation Manager at the Mackenzie Institute for Research in Graphene and Nanotechnology - MackGraphe , where he also coordinates MackMass - MackGraphe Laboratory of Mass Spectrometry. Eberlin has already supervised more than 200 masters, doctors, and pos-doctors, who today act as academics and professionals in Brazil and around the world, having published with them more than 1000 scientific articles in diverse scientific areas such as Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Biology, Science Forensics, Pharmaceuticals, Food, Veterinary, Medicine and Materials Science. Eberlin is editor of Journal of Mass Spectrometry (JMS - Wiley) and was also president of the International Society for Mass Spectrometry (IMSF) for two terms, having received from the more than forty MS societies that make up the IMSF, the Thomson Medal, the highest honor in his field of research. He has also been included in lists of the most influential scientists in Brazil and in the world and is today one of the most productive researchers in the history of Brazilian science, with his more than 1,000 articles receiving around 40,000 citations. Eberlin is currently president of the Brazilian Societies of Mass Spectrometry (BrMASS) and Intelligent Design (TDI BRASIL). He is also a writer, having published the books Somos Planejados, Antevidência (Foresight/Previsión) and Duelo Científico do Século (Editora Kovalpress). Eberlin also hosts two podcasts: ?The Bible and Science? on the 3.16 Network and ?Faith and Science? on IPP TV. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
