Bachelor at Physics from Universidade de São Paulo (1973), Master at Physical Oceanography from Universidade de São Paulo (1977) and Doctorate at Meteorology from Universidade de São Paulo (1984). Currently Associate Professor at Universidade de São Paulo. Has experience in Oceanography, focusing on sea water movement, acting on the following subjects: coastal circulation, numerical modeling of hydrodynamics and dispersion, analysis of time series and tides, mean sea level monitoring and processing of satellite altimetric data.
