Bachelor of Physics from the Federal University of São Carlos (1982), Master in Physics from the State University of Campinas (1985) and PhD in Physics from the State University of Campinas (1989). Post-doctorate at the Institut de Physiqe Nuclèaire at Université Paris-Sud in Orsay-France (1993). He is Professor from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2007) and is currently Associate Professor (MS 5.3) at Unesp in RioClaro-SP. Has experience in Physics, with emphasis on General Physics, acting on the following subjects: chaos, nonlinear dynamics of dissipative and Hamiltonian systems, transport barriers in Plasma Physics, classic transport, billiards, Fermi acceleration, non-linear resonances, molecular photo-association and molecular photo-dissociation.
