Professor of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo (FAU USP), where she graduated (1997), obtained a master's degree (2005) and a doctorate (2013), with a research internship at Columbia University (2011). She is a member of lab_others (Laboratory for Other Urbanisms - USP), and participates in the Research Groups Theory and Method in History of Architecture and Urbanism (CNPq) and Culture, Architecture and City in Latin America (CNPq).
