She holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Mackenzie Presbiterian University-UPM (1976), a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Mackenzie Presbiterian University-UPM (1984), a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo -USP(1994) and a PhD in Nuclear Technology from the Nuclear and Energy Research Institute -IPEN / University of São Paulo -USP(1999). Since 1985, she has been a professor at Mackenzie Presbyterian University, coordinating the Materials Engineering Course of the same University from 1992 to 2011. She coordinated the Professional Master's Program in Materials Engineering from UPM from 2006 to 2007, having participated as coordinator of the Recognition process / Program recommendation by CAPES. She was Director of the Engineering School of Mackenzie Presbiterian University-UPM from 2011 to 2017. She is currently Coordinator of Institutional Academic Evaluation (CAAI) and Coordinator of the Own Evaluation Commission- CPA of the Mackenzie Presbiterian University, Professor of Materials Engineering Course and Postgraduate Program in Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology of UPM. He has experience in the field of Materials Engineering and Metallurgy, with emphasis on Polymers, working mainly on the following topics: synthesis and development of polymers by ionizing radiation (obtaining of hydrogels), obtaining of polymeric composites, characterization of polymeric materials and recycling of materials.
