This work is part of the research in the Department of Energy - Faculty of Engineering Guaratinguetá - FEG / UNESP and Associate Laboratory of Combustion and Propulsion - LCP / INPE, Cachoeira Paulista, which already conduct research on biomass combustion. These resesearches are divided into field experiments, laboratory experiments, and modeling. The goal of this work is to characterize …
Lignocellulosic materials, in particular agro-industrial residues, are considered a promising alternative to fossil fuels because they are renewable, low cost, abundant and therefore sustainable. The main components of these materials are mainly cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin and, because they have different physical-chemical properties, directly influence the efficiency of a process…
This project is a part of research already conducting on biomass combustion in the Department of Energy - FEG/UNESP Campus Guaratinguetá. The projects of this group are divided in field experiments (Costa et al., 2012), laboratory experiments (Amaral et al., 2014, Amorim et al., 2013), and modeling (Costa & Sandberg 2004 Neto et al. 2011). The present work is linked to FAPESP - Process Nr…
